Hello all

I would really like to put a shower screen up, instead of the curtain we have now. The wall it would have to go on is a tiled stud wall. Do you think the wall would take the weight of a shower screen or am I asking for trouble even thinking about it?

Does the fact that the wall is tiled make it stronger, or more vulnerable because I could fracture or displace the tiles. They're rather nice, so i wouldnt want to do anything too violent to them if I can help it.

Thanks!

The addition of tiles should make the fixing more secure. Make sure the frame is sealed well to prevent water getting behind tiles, do you know if the tiles have plasterboard behind or aqua panel or similar?
