Shower temp hot or cold?

The temp on manual mixer is either hot or cold with no inbetween,pipes are right way round but have found that the cold is fed from the mains so assuming that there is an imbalance in the pressure.Would a thermostatic mixer cure this??

Not guaranteed, you would be best to the the cold from the tank
