Hi,

Small issue with the new ensuite, the room width is 925mm wide without tiles.
With tiles this will probably bring the width down to 910 mm, but still will be left with a 10mm gap between the tray and wall (as it was previously) with the 10-15mm 'Sealing Strip' that was used...

Any ideas on how to get round this? Can't really whack up another plaster board over the existing one, so was thinking maybe a horizontal strip of tiles over the edge of the tray, or level with and upto the tray?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but the dimentions are 800mm x 927mm, previously fitted (badly) was a 760 x 900 mm.

I used a quadrant tile edging bead with the 'tongue' cut down to conceal a wider than average strip of sealant around a tay recently. In this case it was because of an out of true wall.

I packed the wider parts of the gap with tiles, sealed the tray to those, added a second layer of sealant , then capped the lot with the beading stuck down with more sealant - The end result is no wide strips of sealant on show, and no leaks.
