Shower unit leaking

Hi all,

we have an aqualisa shower. When you turn it on, water streams out of the actual unit. If you remove the shower head, it stops. Just purchased a new, larger shower head, but it’s made no difference.
Any ideas please? Thank you

Check the shower hose for kinks/twists.

What model of shower? Some have a relief valve that pops when it overheats/over pressurises.

Could be a blocked head then, I’d say something is restricted somewhere causing a buildup of pressure.
