shower wiring

just a quick ?, most likely been covered before but need reassuring.
Replacing a faulty electric shower( 8KW ) with a new 8.5KW triton shower. Currently have a 6mm cable running back to consumer box with a 35amp breaker. Will this work??

No 8.5Kw draws just over 35 amp - need bigger cable and protection
