I have a triton trance shower unit all of a sudden water as started comeing from the back of the unit I think it is called the PRD tube cleaned all the shower flexi hose plus shower head but water is still coming out of pipe any advice out there.
If the water is coming out of the PRD (pressure relief device) then you will need a new one. They are fairly cheap (£10 to £15), which they should be considering its just a small ball stuffed into a piece of plastic pipe. Look at Showerdoc for prices.
Excess pressure (scaled up shower head, kinked pipe etc.) forces the ball out and lets the excess pressure vent. They aren't very difficult to install provided you are reasonably competent at DIY. Turn the mains to the shower off before you start - at the mains, not just at the ceiling switch.
Download the instructions from the Triton web site.
