I am looking to fit a new wooden front door. I have a gap that is 120cm wide, so if i get a door that is 80cm wide, and i assume approx 4cm for timber frame (plus the gaps) i'll have the following scenario:
<4.5cm>< 80cm ><4.5cm>< 27cm ><4cm>
would i be able to get a 'ready-made' frame? or should i consider making my own (have quite good woodworking skills)?
any suggestions for what to put in the 25cm gap? should i buy 2/3/4 sealed units and install those in the frame?
