Hi All,

I have an integrated Siemens dishwasher which has been displaying the e15 fault and she enough the bar of the machine is filling up with water. Having had a good furtle round the leak is coming from the join between the plastic internal base and the metal sides.

Any ideas whether this might be a level switch thing or is it just a seal failure. The side of the plastic base seems a bit bowed to me

Just for future reference for others spoke to an independent repairer who said it's not repairable...

Plastic internal base with stainless steel sides? Sounds like a recipe for eventual failure.

Has the build quality gone down on these things?

I just repaired a 18 year old Bosch and a 15 year old Siemens (identical innards) . Both as good as new and all stainless steel interior. Built like tanks.
