Siemens RWB9 buzzing

Hi,
Does anyone know if a siemens RWB9 Programmer has a back up battery alarm. My friend reckons that her's has been making a loud buzz once a day for the past few weeks 10 mins after start up. I have looked through the user instructions, all it mention is to write to siemens in case of premature battery failure.
Everything else is working OK.
Anyone any knowledge of these beasts ???
