MY Colleague has recently had his boiler replaced and his system upgraded, the company have fitted a rdh10rf room stat in the hall, the boiler fires up fine the rads get nice and hot, however on the room stat the upper figure does not rise for example if he puts the desired tempreature at say 23 degs and the top figures are showing 16 deg, the rads get hot the room warms up the hall warms up but the top figures do not rise to align themselves with thebottom figure, hence the boiler is always on
any suggestions would be apreciated

the wireless room stat is located in the hall, the boiler is in the loft where the wireless mains powered one is

Put another thermometer beside the Siemens - what does it say?

If the Siemens is detecting the temperature correctly then it is faulty. If it is reading the correct temperature then the room is cooler than you may otherwise be thinking.

The RDH10RF does not have user settings/configuration that could be to blame.

You could try moving the stat to mimimise any influence from, say, an uninsulated external wall that could be making the stat sense/read low.
