Siemens WM14P360GB 'ticking' noise problem on low spin.

HI,

I hope someone can help me here.

I have a Siemens WM14P360GB washing machine and recently it has started to make a ticking or tapping noise from the lower lefthand side as it goes into slow spin.

If I open the door and put my hand inside the drum and push down to the left I can make the noise. Pushing down to the right there is no noise.

I expect it is a spring or a shock absorber gone wrong.

The machine is about 2-3 years old and I live alone, so it has not had a lot of use or stress.

Anyone know what it might be and how I could ifx it?
