Silent 100 fan

I have a Silent 100 fan with PIR. I need to remove the front cover to help with decorating, but can't find how to remove it.
There are no obvious fixings, apart from a tiny hole in the front edge, which doesn't seem to move anything if I push in a fine screwdriver.
Can I just lever the cover off? Obviously I don't want to break it.

Quick Google suggests Envirovent. The installation iunstructions don't seem to mention removing the cover, but it looks like the hole might be used to depress a tab internally. Iguess the cover would hinge out from the bottom.

Do a google search for hhow to remove the cover, there is plenty of info that suggests you are trying to do it correctl but a couple of different versions of the fan.

Yes.

A bit awkward to do this with it on the wall.

Thank you all. That photo in #7 is it. I had tried pushing into that hole but nothing moved. I'll have a go at levering the frame up when I get home and report back.

Yes, that did the job. Levered the bottom edge out over the peg. Now I can paint right up to the inside frame. Neater than using masking tape.
