Last week I resealed the bottom of my pvc windows with clear mastic. Not a bad job. However I reckon I used too little, too fine a line, and find very small 'cracks' along the seam line. need to redo. Can I apply a fresh seam of mastic over the whole job (as it is new and clean). O r do I have to remove the whole lot and start again?
Look forward to your input.

Run a stanley knife along your new stuff and remove, such that you have an actual gap (or corner) to silicon, rather than siliconning a layer on top. It might stick without doing this, but it'll be difficult to get it even and looking good.
