Hello

I've followed all the excellent advise so far. Around my ensuite shower is aqua board and the area will be tanked. Next I will be tiling.

I'm not sure what adhesive or grout I will be using yet, but hopefully they will both be waterproof.

I am playing with the 'idea' of using silicone instead of normal grout between the tiles to give as much waterproofing as possible in the area of the shower. I appreciate it will be fiddley, but I'm confident I can get a good neat finish.

Has anyone done this before? Is it a good or bad idea?

If it's not a good thing to do can someone please recommend a top quality 'waterproof' adhesive and grout.

Many thanks in advance ... Mick

have you thought about epoxy grout? Over the top IMO for a normal bathroom as is silicone in the grout lines

BAL do a product called Easypoxy
