Hi all,

Please can I check on the best course of action for this. The button has started getting stuck down and have had to release it by unscrewing it from the cistern lid. I bought the toilet from Focus in 2008 and have removed the button where there is a fair deal of green corrosion on it and it seems that when you press the white thing under the button it seems to go down and back up without sticking so thinking it's just the actual button at fault.

Would it be a case of replacing the button or is there any benefit from possibly repairing it at all?

Have attached some photos.
