I would be nervous about 2.1m (roof loaded) with only a single block composite above, especially when I'm wielding my 'two strike' hammer.

Is the lockdown finally getting to you....Of course! Come to think of it, I have seen a few 2.1m lintels on front single doors and toilet windows, and one over a serving hatch.

Thank you everybody for your input.Have decided to go for 100 x140 to be on the safe side. Now that I have been advised to build piers for the doorway for strength,I have another minor issue. The pier is going to overhang the main foundation by about 15mm internally. It will be sitting on 100mm deep concrete floor for that 15mm though. Do you think that will be Okay?
