Single socket in loft

I need a single socket up in my loft (to plug in a booster for a TV ariel) I was planning to run this from my consumer unit as a separate circuit but I have it in the back of my mind that I would need a thicker cable than a normal 2.5. Is this the case?

2.5mm Cable if OK as long as your new MCB/fuse is rated at 20amps or less

For a TV booster normally you can link of the light circuit as the load drawn from the booster is >1 Amp max. This will save you running a cable to your loft from your consumer unit downstairs. Be sure to fit a 1 Amp fuse in the boosters plug

p.s Use 1.5mm cable from the lighting circuit to the single socket outlet for the booster.

My Tv booster is 65W therefore my load drawn is only 0.28A very low loads like i said
