I have a nearly new SIP 01314 mitre saw and the triangular support bracket has broken across the clamping bolt holes, rendering the saw useless. The bracket can not be repaired, it is cast aluminium, I think. SIP have said that they do not now supply this part, does anybody know where or from whom I can get the spare? I have tried the big/main SIP suppliers

As a last resort you could look at lumiweld, it claims to be able to fix stuff like that ?

Or search for a buggered on on eBay

When I needed some spares for a SIP planer/thicknesser I was advised of the Record model that was identical. I ordered the parts and they fitted precisely.

Do you have a link or photo of the product?

Is it expensive? Where did it come from?
