I have got a problem with siphonage to my bath when emptying the wash basin. This problem started after adding further items to the waste system. Will installing an anti siphon trap to the sink stop the problem or will an anti siphon trap to the bath be also needed.
Thanks for answers in advance.

Regards

Richard

What was added and where?

Shoving a different trap onto a defective drainage system will do little or nothing.

I doubt either would solve your problem. The problem lies in the plumbing-in of the additional items.

A McAlpine non-return valve or Hepv0 trap, used as a non-return valve on the bath waste might cure the problem.

Fitting the additional items properly would be the best option, though.
