I was looking at SoundBloc plasterboard sheets:

1200 x 2400
1200 x 2700
1200 x 3000

If using these upstairs in a decades-old house, presumably builders/plasterers are having to cut these down before attempting to bring them upstairs, trying to get them over the top of bannisters and then in through a standard door frame?

Difficult to say
Houses vary so much in design that an old house (being bigger) is easier to get plasterboard into than a modern shoebox (with crappy walls)

Also, if a plasterer is fitting them all day long, they have a knack of getting stuff in

I would imagine anything other than 2400 x 1200 in your list would be special order -I cant see many nerchants doing them.

Yes they are very awkward to get upstairs!

New builds often use a telehandler and put them through an upstairs window.
