Hi

Couple of questions just had the above plastered out and when this virus thing is over will be fitting skirting board. I was going to use plastic but after reading a few reviews looks like its not as good as I first thought ,so should I just use the MDF type or is there something else? Also we are planning on have the floor tiled so tiling first then skirting on top or skirting first and tile up to it.

And advice greatly apricated.

Mdf is fine , use the extra time to paint skirting 360 before fitting , helps prevent soaking up any water especially if conservatory is main access to garden .

Skirting over tiles in my last house. If you have to cut the tiles to profile around architraving it can be very fiddly and look ugly if you get it wrong.
