Does anyone know where I can buy Art deco style skirting boards from?

A Burbridge stockist may have something suitable, http://www.richardburbidge.com/ failing that any decent timber merchant / joiner's shop should be able to machine a skirting pattern up to your requirements if you give them a sample / show them a piccy.

I took a look on that site, couldnt find any but alot of other nice stuff though. I have a local timber yard who are making architraves for me, maybe they can do skirting also, I want a 3 step design if you know what I mean.

If it's a classic Art Deco style I think I know what you mean. Like these counters, but if it was skirting it would be inverted:-

Your timber yard that are doing the arcs for you should be able to sort something for you. If not, and you're in the north-west, I have used these guys for similar things.

Yes thats excatly it! I've found a company abroad and emailed them to try and get a sample. Cant seem to find any UK companies that specialise in manufacturing/selling skirting as Ogee etc seems to be the norm! I'll approach my timber joiner though nxt wk.

does it need to be timber or will mdf do?
what kind of thickness of step are you after?
can you not just glue strips of thin mdf together to get the desired profile ( would allow for curved walls as well.. )
