the amount of heat you put in is exactly equal to the amount of heat that comes out. Regardless of shape and cost of the heating device. If you have plenty of money and want to buy expensive things, good luck to you.

Used a lot in the States. Called baseboard heating. Not sure if that's a recommendation.
Ho did it perform? Hydronic?
Yes, always wet systems with gas or oil boilers. Performs very well, and unlike a single rad in a room, it gives a more even heat over a larger area. Also coped well with New England winters, and they can be quite hard.
I have not seen this brand. How does it look?

I looked at therma skirt and after pricing it up it was indeed much cheaper than ufh and much more expensive than radiators. The output would have been marginal in the old part of the house.
In the end i went with 3no 1800wx300h single panel rads in the lounge on the outside walls, which are almost the same thing as skirting heating other than looks and less heat loss to the wall, and can be run at much lower condensing friendly and safe temperatures. They are also extremely cheap and easy to fit. In other rooms i went for Smiths plinth heaters some of which are extremely quiet and others are very noisy.
