Hello All
I have now finished putting down my reclaimed pine flooring.
I am just about ready to go and buy some skirting and need to know what to buy to pack out the bottom part to keep them level with the wall

what spacers should i be using i have googled but dont seem to find much.

Thanks

Don't really need to pack it out unless you're planning to nail it up.

If the skirting is to be painted, use MDF and a grab adhesive, just apply more where there are gaps in the plaster.

Hi there Sorry they are solid walls and the plaster ends about 1-2 inches above floor level. do i still not need any spacers?
i was thinking of MDF but i am going to get the architraves milled and perfect as i am trying to keep as much character as possible.

How deep is the plaster?

If there's more than half an inch or so to make up, fix timber to the wall under the plaster, packed out with glazing packers. You can then fix to that.
