Hi all

I am going to slacken a nut at my hot water cylinder (primary flow connection) to try and shift some air that has made its way into the system and I can seem to ****. Have tried venting everything!!

I have read that this is OK on this site, but if i do this when tre-tightening will i get a leak or slight dribble? If so how can i overcome this.

Just want to be sure ....

Thanks for your help.

You may do if the nut is very old and stiff when loosening. Should be OK though. Have an old cloth/towel ready when loosening.
