Slashing the boats in shallow water, now

There’s room in my house for a hundred people. Trouble is, those that are entitled to live there wouldn’t be able to easily access the facilities and there would be large queues to use the loo, get to the kitchen, have a bath, get in bed etc etc plus they'd be paying for the upkeep of those who shouldn’t be there to use the facilities that they can now no longer easily access.
so you dont want them coming here

do you think France should take more then?

The legal migrants were allowed to arrive as they were needed. On the whole, they pay into the system
but you have always moaned they overload our public services

funny how you change your tack when you want to whine about asylum seekers

I thought Reform did have a net zero migration policy?
No, they say they'll have smart immigration. They don't promise zero or even net zero.

They say they'll freeze migration, but what does that mean, current rates but no higher or lower, no one leaves and no one arrives? Its typical Reform soundbite nonsense

Huge numbers coming now:

You do love posting your running totals.

I remember when you kept the forum excited with riveting updates from the Welsh speed limit petition. (y)

This latest one is slightly less exciting though.

Waving a magic wand to end asylum seeking won’t make a jot of difference to the state of the country

No worries starmer is on the case he will
Set up another task force

A sort of task force to over see the other task force :giggle:

And there mission will be turbo charged :giggle:

Perhaps this task force should be super charged
As opposed to turbo charged ?? :giggle:

Waving a magic wand to end asylum seeking won’t make a jot of difference to the state of the country
people were told all the problems in this country were due to being in the EU
so we left and things are still sh1t
and now the same people are made to believe if asylum seekers were got rid of all the problems in this country would be sorted

It seems Reform voters can be conned multiple times

theres a new deal being considered, which seems silly because the numbers would be the same but it would mean those that come by boat would just get returned:

The government is set to announce a “one-in, one-out” migrant removals deal between the UK and France, it has emerged.

Under the exchange, a person being deported from the UK would be exchanged for another individual sent from France who has a right to be in Britain.
