Hello,

I have recently spent a small fortune on having my 100 year slate old roof repaired (replaced slates, lead flashings, ridge tiles, guttering, soffits, facias, barage boards) but no felt, joists and slate direct to exterior only

Also I am currently having a loft conversion put in. Yesterday the lofter reported that during a hail storm, hail got in and covered a large area of the new floor.

I thought this may be as a result of slate/ tile chatter and am now very worried that each time a storm comes water will get into my new loft conversion and ruin it.

How much roughly would it cost to have all the tiles properly secured on a large Victorian semi detached roof if that is in fact the cause of the hail getting in ?
