Slippery Slope

I have a slope at the bottom of my garden. The neighbours have right of way to access the back of their property. Since the neighbours have changed, they are making noises at it being slippery and unsafe and they "almost" slipped.

I am thinking about putting gravel down.... will that make it more slippery. Is there another option ? Does anyone have any ideas what I put here to make it safer. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Fill it with compacted gravel stones at £2 a sack or jumbo bag if there's access for a lorry.
Ask the delivery driver to hold the jumbo bag 3 foot in he air and slice it with a stanley knife.
Then rake it and compact.
1 hour job.

Yes, that one.
10mm is too small.
If you really want to make it harder, before compacting sprinkle a bag of cement and 2 of sand on top of the gravel.
Then compact the lot.
Sand and cement will go in between the stones and firm them.

10mm gravel will just mean the neighbourhood cats will use it as a toilet
