Dear Experts,

For a while I have been scratching my head trying to work out how to divide up some large drawers.

I am imagining some strips of maybe 3mm MDF or plywood with slots cut half way through maybe 30mm apart. Longer strips would run the width of the drawer and shorter strips would run front to back, the other way up, interlocking.

It does seem possible to buy plastic versions for small drawers, e.g.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plastic-Drawer-Divider-Storage-Organizer/dp/B008J83Z70

But my drawers are about 650x530mm, and I'd prefer them in wood to suit the birch drawers.

It would not be difficult to make a few strips but I have 12 drawers and each would need about 8 strips - that is a lot of slots to cut with a jigsaw (accurately).

So can anyone suggest:
- Where I can buy something like this off-the-shelf.
- How I could have these made at a sensible price in this sort of quantity.
- An easy way to make them myself.
- An alternative way to divide the drawers.

Thanks!

You would need a table saw to make lots of accurate cuts.
Or adjustable cake tin liner, but would be metal.
