slow running computer

hello
everytime i log onto this forum my computer runs slow untill i logg of and on again..Does anyone have any I deas as to the cause

Also if there is anyone out there who would like help with baking and sewing (all that iam good at) please feel free to ask

How old is the pc???

As they age the registry gets a bit messy as programs or viruses are installed and deleted.

I generally back up and restore to day one once a year.

It is also possible that a badly written virus might be causing the machine to run slowly.

The link above is a free online virus scanner. If it finds nothing then I would recommend doing a factory restore. You will need to back up your info first as this will wipe the hard drive.

A repair instalation might help but you will need a proper windows cd for this= not the restore cd from the pc maker.

Can you give us more info re the model number of the pc etc

Try using another browser. Google chrome is good and handles has a great javascript engine.
