Hello

I have an existing wired digistat 3, valiant ecotec plus 832 and bought a wiser multi zone kit 1.

I seem to have 2 connected wires plus a capped blue wire.

Because my existing thermostat is battery powered do i just need live feed?

Is there a smart thermostat that is a direct swap better than the wiser?

Whatever you do, make sure you sleeve that green & yellow wire with brown sleeving, it’s not best practice to use these wires.

Also that’s a 2 wire thermostat, not 3.
 
The wiser stats are wireless.
You normally decommission any wired CH stat points once installed.

Your controller is the only wired device.

Are you getting the two mixed up?
