My 7 yr old d/washer doesn't fill (just hums). Otherwise everything seems OK. Any suggestions? If I do an electrical impedance test on the Aquastop valve the reading is 1.95kOhms - does that mean anything? Next step(s)?

check that the tap is not turned off and that water comes out of the pipe, or hose kinked?

Impedance seems a bit low to me. Unfortunately it's not a cheap item so not really on the "try it and see" list.
