Smell from sink

I am getting a smell coming up my bathroom sink when I drop the bath. The bath.

I think what is happening is the waste under the floor is holding water and when the bath is dropped its pushing some of the water up the sink a little and moving it about which is creating a smell.


Is there any type of valve I could fit under the sink to stop the smell. Like a AAV or something ?

Yes the bathroom was moved so it is sink then bath then out wall into a grid with 40mm waste pipe.

I have a normal bottle trap . Do you think the water is being pulled from the sink trap when bath gets dropped and this new siphon will stop it ?
