Hi

Does anyone know the current building regulations regarding smoke alarms

I'm renovating a property and would like to know know how many mains wired smoke alarms are required and where.

ideally in all rooms, but otherwise go for Kitchen to BS 5446, Bedrooms, hallways/landings + sitting rooms with alarm to BS 5839.
