Smoothing over textured cement

Well I think its cement anyway, its definitely not plaster.

The pictures below are of the inside of my conservatory, is there a DIY alternative to smoothing the walls without resorting to pay a plasterer to do the job?

Something like Polycell SmoothOver, if that's not blasphemy around here?

PVA, Bonding coat, multifinish and a plasterer.

Is this going to require a bit of skill then, is this not a DIY job? (never done any plastering).

For a decent job, RC is right, IMO.

The only alternative would be for you to knock off any high spots and have a go yourself as above. then use Easifill to fill and sand down.

If teh holes are not too deep You might be able to just use easifill, rub down, easifill again and repeat until you are happy.

It will be time consuming, dusty you'll have to make a call on how good or otehrwise you can accept it.
