Snap/clap noise in kitchen/living room ceiling 2nd floor flat

Are there any points in the ceiling that you can open up and pass a USB inspection camera through?
they are relatively cheap in the marketplace.
This is something I have suggested to Bewley. They have an acoustic supply chain partner who theoretically could use an acoustic camera to pinpoint the source of the sound. Despite our suggestions, they have disregarded them.

Any sound in a confined space can sound like it's coming from anywhere. Don't rely on it being in the ceiling.
It sounds like the noise is coming from the corner of the kitchen, close to the fridge and cupboards. There's a partition wall behind with metal studs, maybe with flat bars holding the plasterboard together. It's strange that if the noise is from the wall or ceiling, it would sound muffled, don't you think?

Given that it is happening in more than 1 property then the builders should be getting involved and investigating.

Unfortunately as we cannot see the property we are likely to only be able to suggest stuff based on what you say.
