Just wondered if this is doable:
1960s dormer bungalow. Concrete drive down the side of the property.
The concrete drive is right up to the side of the property all the way down, there is no drainage. As a result, due to poor camber on part of the driveway and the lack of drainage I constantly get puddles forming down the side of the house, which is a pain when trying to get to the car.
Rather than trying to dig in a drain and connecting to the mains, can i just dig away the some of the concrete and make a small trench down the side and fill it with gravel or some other material. Basically a long thin soakaway.
Would this be ok? Any risk to property wall? I can't see why there would but thought I should check.
