Hi there. Thinking about doing my own block paving drive and I know I need to provide drainage for rain water. The driveway slopes from the road to the garage so ideally, a drainage channel along the garage threshold connected to a soakaway would be perfect but my problem is, one side of the driveway is fenced and the other side is a garden wall so I've nowhere to actually put a soakaway. This must be a common problem with driveways and any info would be great. Thanks.

The soakaway can go anywhere.

Normally you would pipe the drain back up the drive away from the house and put the soakaway there.

Or design it out and slope the drive to a planting or gravelled area

Why not put the soak away under the driveway it would mean sinking a couple of aquacells into the ground underneath and running a pipe back from your acco drain.

Ok thanks for the suggestions. I've now added a photo so people can see exactly what I'm faced with. Thanks again.
