Hi,

What would you do in this situation where I can see black bitumen possibly Asbestos glue under old Altro wet room flooring. I wanted to move the pipe back close to wall so I can build a stud wall for wall hung toilet.

But only way would be to dig up floor. Or should I just put a toilet and sink vanity unit there against existing wall? so no digging?

It's only a small area to dig.
You can cover with shaving foam or I would just wet area before busting up.
The black bitumen used to stick those asbestos tiles down with will have asbestos in but its solid. Don't go sanding or grinding.
It's low risk but get good PPE and dig up.
Spray water as you go.
The alternative is get a firm in and they wear PPE and spray with water and dig up.

My local tip has a asbestos bin but you have to register to dump stuff in. Maybe you have similar.
