Soil pipe toilet outlet question

Hi, could somebody please help me, I'm trying to find the correct distance, from the wall to the centre of the soil pipe in the floor behind a tolilet to allow a problem for toliet istallation, the pipe isn't in position yet and i'd like to get it right first time!

depends on the wc you use and the connector you use but an average is about 4" to the centre.
