IM MOVING MY BATHROOM TO ANOTHER ROOM APPROX 3M AWAY.
1. CAN I STILL LINK INTO THE ORIGINAL SOIL WASTE OUTLET.IF SO DOES IT REQUIRE A STRAIGHT CONNECTION OR ARE BENDS ACCEPTABLE

2. DO I NEED TO HAVE A SURFACE TRAP FOR MY SINK & SHOWER

Only use bends where you need to and make sure you get a fall of 1 / 40.

You can run your sink and shower waste into the soil pipe via a boss if practical.
Don't understand what you mean by surface trap :?

Jeez, I can't stand it any longer. I have been watching your posts for some time now and I can't stand it any longer.

Call yourself "pedantic"? The word
your
can't be used as a substitute for the word
you're

Just thought you'd like to know that you are not the only pedant round here.

You'd think I'd have better things to do, wouldn't you? Like sorting out the mess of wiring, plumbing and building that the previous owners of this pile of garbage inflicted upon me........

So much for the survey.

I'm with you on this one, WP, it seems strange to me that people doing a mildly technical job don't know how - or can't be bothered, to use the right form of

they're there their
your you're
plumber's plumbers'
to too two

and so on.
I think I learned all about English and its simplest grammar when I was about 7. Getting it wrong is like leaving solder out of a joint.

And there was I thinking that I was the only person who thinks spelling, grammar and punctuation are still important!

Then again, I seem to recall one shouldn't start a sentence with "and".

Doh!

Mis-placed apostrophes are my biggest hate (at the moment).
