Guys
i have just run approx 80 meters of copper pipe (New extension)
2 bathrooms (both have a separate bath and walk in shower) downstairs WC and utility, so a fair few joints, i have obviously cleaned all the joints of excess Flux and wire wooled them, so they all look bright and new,
bear in mind that this pipe work is not connected to the incoming mains cold water or the central heating boiler at this time,
it suddenly dawned on me that there must be some excess flux on the joint inside the pipe work, if so, what is the best way to clear this,
im assuming that i can poss run some sort of safe cleaner through the pipe work when i pressure test for leaks,
any advice guidance would be appreciated

cheers al

WHether they're for ch OR tap water it would be a good idea to test them and flush with mains.
If your mains is up to about the average, say 3 - 4 bar, you can test the lot including rads. A pressure gauge is only £10 or so, worth its weight.

ChrisR

thanks for the advise,
will the mains pressure be enough to flush out any excess flux that may be in the inner pipe or is there a product that i can use to remove it,
