Make an image of your current drive. Make recovery media. Check it out - Boot, then verify image made.
Install wn7 flavour - Default drivers will/should be found.
Happy ? Clone hdd to SSD.
Swap disks, all ok? If yes, then image the drive.
You now have :
Image of what you had.
SSD with Win7 installed.
Image of new drive.
Job done.
