I've insulated my bathroom (external walls) with 50mm celotex on the interior.
It's taped and I'll be looking at some ceramic tiles for the final covering.

Do I plasterboard, skim then tile... or would another covering be more preferable.
Think I'm having a shower tray... but wet room is still a possibility.

Won't be having really heavyweight tiles.

TIA

You can plasterboard, and the tile straight on to the plasterboard, and it'll then hold more weight than a skimmed wall. Tiles never come off neatly, and the wall always needs sorting out afterwards, so skimming it is a bit of a waste. But as you're having shower or a wet room, then many will recommend Hardibacker rather than plasterboard.
