Hello gardeners
I am new to gardening so need some advice on a few things.

My front garden i am planing to get rid of all of the mis match of bushes, weeds that have been planted over the years randomly and either turf or seed with some box hedges to make it minimal and easy to manage.
I have spend three weekends pulling up random things but i wonder if there is a killer spray that will kill everything and then allow for growing grass or keep digging and pulling is the best way?
It’s an absolute mess and i want to make it easy to manage with a simple lawn and some nice hedges.
Before and after planned photo attached

Thanks in advance

i use roundup super concentrated , recommended by a local gardner , who did a lot of public work. I purchased a few litres some years ago now.
And works well still, I have cleared areas quite successfully using it - takes 1-3weeks to do anything , but then kills off the plants, doesnt do anything to the earth , so can be replanted

Dig out the big stuff first, hard work but will also start the prep for laying your new turf or seeding the lawn. You will need to leave the lawn until any weed killer has dissipated.

Thanks, i will keep cutting away as fast as the green bin can take it.
Once done I will perhaps apply some decent strong weed killer that kills everything like Glyphosate based product.
Then wait another two weeks to dig over and flatten with my feet before putting some seeds down, going to take a while.
I did find a product that looks ok Gallup 360 Biograde Glyphosate Concentrated Weed Killer.
It says it kills everything and doesn’t affect the soil
So perhaps dig as much as possible, apply this wait three weeks, pull out everything left, dig soil turning it over and then flatten and apply some grass seed.
Does that sound good?

Google caring for new lawn and you will get loads of advice. Kill the weeds, level the ground, do a funny walk on your heels to gently compact the soil, rake it, rake it, rake it. Spread seed evenly, using canes to guide a square metre to ensure even coverage. Spread some extra for the birds so they leave yours alone. Water gently if no showers, once sprouting walk over again to firm the roots, watch it grow.

Easier to lay turf, same basic prep, use boards to stand on whilst laying and water daily for 2 to 3 weeks. Its worth the extra cost.

If using seed, I recommend covering with fleece and pegging down - the grass seed will germinate and grow quickly and you won't lose the seed to pigeons

@Old Salt is that your shed or is this a stock photo?
It looks very similar to the one I am getting in 2 weeks. Just finished building the sub base for it, (sloping ground and needed to construct a framework on descending stilts to get the level). How big is yours and did you assemble it yourself? Mine will be 20' x 10'

Thats my actual garden. The “shed” is actually a garage and man cave. 7 metres by 3 supplied and erected by RHT ltd. Took 2 guys best part of a day to erect and get the roof boards on, then a long half a day to finish the roof, windows and door.
