sony vaio keypad

I have a Sony Vaio laptop. Some of the letters on the keyboard dont register on the screen unless you press them 5 or 6 times. Also the Q has a life of its own it just runs across the page as if i am holdng it down.

Before i spend a fortnune on a new keypad has anyone else had this problem.

PS i have tried to clean the key pad with an air canister
Any ideas would be apprecated

I change quite a few laptop keyboards with similar symptoms to yours. Needless to say it always fixes the problem , which probably answers your question. New keyboard me thinks
