Veritas R8+ Remote Keypad Weirdness

Not sure I understand. Resistors?

Was hoping it would just be a case of all the existing PIRs just working with the new panel?

I'll start taking the R8 apart in preparation for the new panel. Will label the wires as I go.

This is what my current wiring looks like (installed by electricians who wired house).
