Soundproofing internal walls

I live in a semi detached house that was built in the 70's. I have THE loudest neighbours!!!

Does anyone have any ideas for soundproofing the walls that are attached to their property. Thanks

Retro sound proofing, in spite of what any salesman tells you, is a lost cause. It wont work because sound will travel thro most materials.

You can dampen sound down but not"sound proof" a room.

The expense and upheaval of dampening down can hardly be worth it in my book. But thats only my opinion.
