I am planning to sand down the floorboards in the bedroom, most of the boards are spotted with paint and in poor condition after 100+ years of neglect, but nothing a good sand wouldn't sort out.
My problem, is that as electrical work / plumbing has been installed in the house the original flooboards have been taken up and replaced with ones that do not fit. Does anyone know how I would go about sourcing floorboards the same size as the old ones, they wouldn't need to be old reclaimed ones, new ones would be fine as they can be stained slighty to match if need be.
Help would be much appreciated.
