Hi All,

I'm fitting a BTW loo in the downstairs 'cloakroom' and trying to save as much space as possible. there was a loo there initially so its just a replacement job.

There is the soil pipe from upstairs that joins in to enter the hole in the ground (I don't know the correct terminology) with one of these jobbies...

but this eats up a lot of space. could i use something like this instead and join the soil pipe from the BTW loo to the 'access' hole or would i be entering a world of smelly hurt?

also whats the difference between grey and black pipe?
